Bruce Richardson is the owner of Elmwood Inn Fine Teas and Benjamin Press, based in Danville, Kentucky. He serves as a Contributing Editor For TeaTime magazine and an Editorial Board member for Fresh Cup. Bruce is a past Advisory Board Member for the Specialty Tea Institute of America (STI) and a frequent speaker at tea events across the US. Richardson has served as a consultant to several Fortune 500 companies and his views on the American tea renaissance are frequently quoted in publications worldwide. In 2012, Richardson was named Tea Master for Boston's Tea Party Ships & Museum. Bruce Richardson is the author of 14 books on tea, including The New Tea Companion and A Social History of Tea, both written in collaboration with London author Jane Pettigrew.
